Privacy

This site does not ask you to create an account, join a list, or pay. It does not run analytics. It does not sell information, because it does not collect an account in the first place.

The season planner can save one plan in your browser’s local storage, under the key whitetail-hunting-info.plan.v1. That copy stays on the device and in the browser profile you used. It is not uploaded. Reset removes the key. Clearing site data for this site removes it too. A private window starts empty.

The area map does not load until you choose “Load the map.” After that, your browser requests map tiles from tile.openstreetmap.org. Those requests include your network address, the way any image request does. OpenStreetMap’s privacy policy covers that service. If you never load the map, those requests are not made.

Links to HuntFishPA, Go Wild, Michigan’s license portal, and the agency regulation pages leave this site. Those agencies have their own privacy rules, especially if you buy a license or create an account there. This guide does not see that transaction.
